Oh my god the conservatives I know are really bad at making the case for conservatism, at massive scale
How do they not see this? It’s not like they have secret data that would make them see it. It’s not like they have some secret argumentative theory that would make them see it. They are just bad at argument – bad at making the case – for their side. They have nothing substantial to say that isn’t just pure contrarianism. They are ideologically blind, ideologically clean hands, and they are saying “nobody has told me about this awesome coherent worldview yet”

I’m just trying to figure out how the left is worse at argument. I think they are, but I can’t tell whether they’re worse at making the case or just arguing for the sake of arguing.
because none of them/us can agree on anything other than hating rich people (and justifiably so!), and that it is good and proper to argue about theory instead of actually doing anything (with respect to broad leftism on the internet, anyways)
